Js13kGames（也稱為 JS13K）是一個Game Jam，主要目標是製作壓縮後不超過13KB的瀏覽器遊戲，且必須使用ZIP格式壓縮。[1][2][3]參賽者不能使用外部服務或函式庫，所有遊戲資源（如程式碼、圖片、音效等）也必須符合大小限制。[4]遊戲需使用JavaScript和HTML5技術開發。[5][6][7]每年比賽都會有不同的主題，參賽者可以自由發揮創意來詮釋主題。[8]獲勝者可以獲得獎金、數位獎勵、T恤以及宣傳品等獎品。[9]

歷史

JS13K 於2012年由Andrzej Mazur 創立並主辦。[10][11][12]比賽每年從8月13日開始，持續到9月13日。[13]自2017年起，比賽新增了一些類別，允許特定軟體框架不計入檔案大小限制。[14]2019年，JS13K與Coil合作，推出了「內容變現」類別，[15]並在 2020年獲得Grant for the Web的部分資助，持續推動此類別。[16]

許多知名遊戲設計師都曾參與過JS13K，包括马库斯·佩尔松（《我的世界》的創作者）[17]和 Ricardo "Mrdoob" Cabello（Three.js的創作者）。[18]一些為比賽開發的遊戲後來甚至在Steam上商業發行，例如2016年的冠軍作品Evil Glitch。[19]其他作品也在網路上受到廣泛討論，並出現在許多與比賽相關的文章中。[20]
