鬼幻茸竺鯛（學名：Lachneratus phasmaticus）是天竺鯛科鬼幻茸竺鯛屬的唯一種，[1] 原產於東太平洋和印度洋熱帶地區。[2] 該種魚可在水下裂縫或洞穴中找到，生活在水深3至104米的地方。其身長通常為7.4厘米。[2]
1969年左右，有人在夏威夷附近捕撈上來一條未知的魚類，從而發現了該物種。[3] 後來，人們又在斐濟附近捕撈到了這種魚。1991年，科學家對其進行分類，將其歸入一個新屬。[3]
命名[編輯]
鬼幻茸竺鯛的屬名是為了紀念美國魚類學家Ernest A. Lachner。[4]
