苯硫酚亞銅是一種硫酚鹽，化學式為C6H5SCu，可溶於吡啶，難溶於水。它可由二苯基二硫和銅粉在二甲基乙醯胺中反應製得。[1]或由銅(II)鹽和苯硫酚反應得到：[2][3]
- 2 Cu2+ + 4 PhSH → 2 CuSH + PhSSPh （Ph=C6H5）
它和甲基鋰在乙醚-四氫呋喃於低溫中反應，可以得到CH3Cu(SPh)Li(THF)3。[4]
它的熱分解產物為硫化銅。[2]
