哈德拉克作为木材交易的重地而建立。[3]密歇根中央铁路曾于此地设站，哈德拉克亦曾于1904年4月24日至1906年8月31日设立邮政局。[4]
地理[编辑]
哈德拉克所处的海拔为高于海平面233米（即764呎），而该地所采用的时区为UTC-5，即北美东部时区（EST）。同时该地设有夏令时间，为UTC-5调快一小时，即UTC-4（EDT）。哈德拉克位于县治格拉德温以北14 mi（23 km）。
