澳洲盲鳗，（学名：Myxine australis）为盲鳗科盲鳗属的其中一种，分布于西南大西洋阿根廷南部、智利南部及火地岛海域[5]，栖息深度10-100米，体延长呈圆柱状，体后方侧扁，眼退化为皮肤所覆盖，无上下颌，身体粉红色，头部白色，体长可达60公分，栖息在泥底质海域，属肉食性，没有交配器官，性腺位于腹膜腔内，卵巢位于性腺的前部，睾丸位于性腺的后部，若性腺的颅部发育，则动物成为雌性；若性腺的尾部发生分化，则动物成为雄性，生活习性不明。
