後棱蛇屬學名Opisthotropis)是蛇亞目水游蛇科下的一個蛇

特徵

後棱蛇頭部扁平,頭頸區分不明顯;吻寬而鈍圓,吻鱗寬大於高;眼中等大或小,瞳孔圓形或直立亞橢圓形;鼻孔位鼻鱗外側上方;前額鱗一枚,寬倍於長;上頜齒細小,20-40枚,最後2枚稍大。身體呈圓柱形;鱗片光滑或具棱;背鱗15、17或19行;尾中等長,尾下鱗雙行。以蚯蚓甲殼動物等為食。[1]
