異盲蛇科（學名：Xenotyphlopidae）是蛇亞目下的一個科，僅有1屬1種：異盲蛇屬（學名：Xenotyphlops）下的格氏異盲蛇（學名：X. grandidieri），它們是馬達加斯加的特有種。 ^[2]目前未有任何亞種被確認。 ^[4]

詞源[編輯]

格氏異盲蛇是馬達加斯加的特有種，僅分布在其北部的Baie de Sakalava。它們被發現於靠近海岸的森林或灌木林的沙丘中，其棲息地可能位於潮濕的低地森林中。^[1]

異盲蛇曾僅有一個模式標本，且有近100年未被再次發現。直至2007年，一種新的異盲蛇品種莫氏異盲蛇（學名：X. mocquardi）被發現，但於2013年的研究證實莫氏異盲蛇實則是格氏異盲蛇的同種異名。這一結果使得格氏異盲蛇成為了異盲蛇科的單型種。 ^[5]
