迷惑翻车鲀（学名：Mola tecta），又称蒙面翻车鲀、骗子翻车鲀、隐秘翻车鲀[1]，是翻车鲀科翻车鲀属的其中一种。它与更广为人知的翻车鱼（Mola mola）关系密切。拉丁文“tecta”的意思是隐藏。之所以用“隐藏”一词来命名，是因为这种鱼长期混迹于其他种类的翻车鲀中，直到最近才被发现[2]。它于2015年在新西兰基督城附近的海滩上被发现，是130年来首次被确认的翻车鲀新品种。迷惑翻车鲀大多在南半球温带地区的澳大利亚、新西兰、智利南部和非洲南部附近水域被发现[3]。海洋科学家玛丽安娜·尼格哈德首次描述了这种鱼，她在攻读博士学位时曾研究过翻车鲀[4]。

描述[编辑]

迷惑翻车鲀是更广为人知的翻车鱼的同属鱼类。迷惑翻车鲀和其他翻车鲀一样，体型扁平，几乎是对称的椭圆形。它的体形光滑，没有凸起，最大体长为242公分[5]。它的鳍上没有刺，也没有真正的尾鳍[5]。它的鳞片已经进化成小刺。与软骨鱼一样，迷惑翻车鲀也有反影伪装，即背侧的颜色比腹侧深[5]。与其他翻车鲀种相比，迷惑翻车鲀体型更苗条，成鱼体型更圆滑，没有突出的吻部和尾鳍上的肿块。它的体长可达三米，体重可达两吨[6]。在所有剖开的迷惑翻车鲀中都发现了寄生虫。

翻车鲀属下有三个现存物种：翻车鱼、拉氏翻车鲀（Mola alexandrini）和迷惑翻车鲀[7]。

翻车鱼是最常见的翻车鲀，于1758年被发现，拉氏翻车鲀是在81年后的1839年被发现的[7][1]。与这两种近亲相比，迷惑翻车鲀是在2014年才被发现的[8]。2004年，即迷惑翻车鲀于2014年被正式命名的10年前，日本研究人员根据从澳洲水域获得的基因讯息，发现了一个新的翻车鲀物种。但是，他们没能获得关于这个新翻车鲀物种的更多信息，也不知道这个翻车鲀物种到底长什么样子[9]。根据首次描述迷惑翻车鲀的尼格哈德说，迷惑翻车鲀很难研究，因为它们很难发现到，而且体型巨大，难以储存[10]。

2014年在新西兰基督城附近的海滩上发现的迷惑翻车鲀是130年来第一个被确认的翻车鲀新物种[6]。人们认为它主要生活在南半球，在新西兰、澳大利亚、南非和智利附近海域都发现过它的踪迹[6][11][12]。不过，在北半球也有多起[13][14][15]发现这种鱼的记录，例如1889年在荷兰阿默兰岛发现的一只（以前被认为是翻车鱼）[16]以及2019年在加利福尼亚州圣塔芭芭拉附近发现的一只2.1米长的标本[17][18][19]。另一个翻车鲀物种拉氏翻车鲀在南太平洋被发现。相较之下，翻车鱼是分布最广的物种，在除极地以外的所有主要海洋中都有发现[1]。
