英格兰及威尔士大律师公会
英格兰及威尔士大律师公会（英语：General Council of the Bar）成立于1894年，是英格兰及威尔士的大律师专业团体。而英国大律师执业标准委员会则根据《2007年法律服务法令》（Legal Services Act 2007）规范与管理大律师执业[1]。大律师公会亦代表着大律师的利益[2] 。

历史
[编辑]大律师公会成立于1894年，目的是为了处理违反大律师职业操守的行为。这权力以往是司法部门处理的。[3]后来律师学院在1974年另行成立了律师学院大律师评议会（Senate of the Inns of Court and the Bar），导致于1987年1月1日当Lord Rawlinson发表报告后是两者联盟关系破裂。随后通过的《1990年法院及法律服务法令》（Courts and Legal Services Act 1990）规定大律师公会是一个大律师的专业团体，而其专业规管权力比2006年成立的英国大律师执业标准委员会取代。
