English: The remaining structure of The Temple of Olympian Zeus at Athens. It had been cloudy all day, and with the clouds gathering to the East, the sun came out from the West to Illuminate the stone.
Deutsch: Das Bild stellt den Tempel des Zeus in Athen dar. Das Olympieion (auch Tempel des Olympischen Zeus) in Athen war einer der größten Tempel im antiken Griechenland und wurde vom 2. Jahrhundert v. Chr. bis zum 2. Jh. n. Chr. errichtet. Dabei wurde das Fundament eines begonnenen Vorgängerbaus aus dem 6. Jh. v. Chr. benutzt.
