English: Wu Shuang Pu (無雙譜; Table of Peerless Heroes) is a book of woodcut prints, first printed in 1694, by painter Jin Shi (金史), who was known as Jin Guliang (金古良). This book contains the biographies and imagined portraits of 40 notable heroes and heroines from the Han Dynasty to the Song Dynasty, all guided by a related poem. The illustrations from the book were widely distributed and re-used, often as motifs on Chinese porcelain. This is one of the heroes, Ban Chao, a Han-Dynasty general and cavalry commander in charge of the administration of the Western Regions during the Eastern Han Dynasty. He fought for 31 years.
